Gunnarsholt and Mjarvell were once connected by an inseparable bond of friendship and cohabitation of Iskap. Years went by and the travel between the two cities slowly faded into obscurity. The forgotten lands, the Gleymdu Londunum, were once host to settlements that have since been lost.

This is partly due to the intense climate change that wrought the continent. Falling temperatures brought widespread famine and the need for the two kingdoms to consolidate. The path between them was severed by time. Each city now grows independently from each other, depending on rudimentary seafaring for contact.
